Meet Karen Senior ex-VicRoads Licence Tester

Hello, I’m Karen Senior. I started this driving school out of a genuine passion for helping people achieve independence. To me, there is absolutely nothing better than watching a student reach their goal and earn their licence—I always tell them it will truly change their life!

Before becoming an instructor, I worked at VicRoads where my role included conducting on-road licence testing. I absolutely loved it, but I realised I could do even more to set drivers up for success by teaching them directly.

Teaching people to drive can be challenging, but it is incredibly rewarding to know I’ve played a part in helping someone achieve a major life milestone. When you learn with me, you get patient, compassionate guidance from someone who truly wants to see you succeed.

Allan is a great driving instructor he not only helped me to pass the test, he also got my brother to pass too, he helps you focus and learn the road rules to easily pass your drivers test. If you want to get your license I highly recommend L’s Be Gone Driving School.

Drove with Allan for alot of my lessons and then with karen for the last couple and i must say their teaching style is amazing if i had to do it all over again i would 110% got with them again i cannot recommend them enough they helped me pass my test and now i am on my P’s so thank you Allan and Karen for your lessons and your wisdom. Karen is truly a blessing for anyone learning to drive. She strikes the perfect balance between patience and firmness, kindness and discipline. She’s incredibly observant — she quickly identifies where you need improvement and helps you correct your mistakes without ever making you feel stressed or discouraged. All it takes to succeed with Karen is to listen and follow her guidance. I say this from experience: after having two other instructors and completing over ten lessons with them, I only learned a fraction of what I did with Karen. She genuinely knows how to teach, and she’s the best instructor for anyone who wants to actually learn to drive confidently and safely. General FAQs

Do you have male instructor?

Yes, we do. Male instructor are available Saturday to Sunday. Just let us know your preference when you book, and we’ll match you with the right instructor for your lesson times and pick-up location.

Who will be teaching me?

L’s Be Gone is a boutique driving school run by an ex-VicRoads licence tester. You’ll learn from someone who knows exactly what is expected on test day, and who teaches you to drive confidently in all road conditions, not just to pass.

What areas do you service?

We operate across Melbourne’s Western Suburbs. Not sure if we cover your area? Call or text us on 0425 741 433 and we’ll let you know.

Where will you pick me up?

We’re flexible. We can pick you up and drop you off at home, school, work or the train station.

What are your hours?

We operate from 7am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and also take bookings on Saturday.
